VIVA LA VIDA’ – CENTRO CULTURAL MONTJUIC – BARCELLONA – From 16 to 30 OCTOBER 2017
Italia Arte, Museo MIIT, Galleria Folco, in collaboration and with the free patronage of public and private institutions organize and curate the exhibition “Viva la Vida. Art and Beauty – Salvation of the World”, in collaboration with the Montjuic Cultural Centre of Barcelona.
The exhibition, with a free theme, is dedicated to life, hope, the energy of color and light, always characteristic elements of the beautiful city of Barcelona, hard hit by the events of recent times. Italian art and that of artists from all over the world, always attentive and sensitive to these ethical and social problems, will therefore be the protagonists of the exhibition, presenting a careful selection of about forty works including photography, painting, sculpture in various techniques and materials and video art.
The exhibition will be held at the Centro Cultural Montjuic in Barcelona, from 16 to 31 October 2017 with opening on 16 October from 17.00 (Gran Via de Les Cortes Catalanes 296 – Barcelona).
The prestigious spaces of the Montjuic Cultural Centre, in the heart of Barcelona, a few steps from Plaça d’Espanya, the Fundació Miró, the University and the Museu d’Arquelogia de Catalunya, overlooking the main street Gran Via de Les Cortes Catalanes that connects it directly with the Sagrada Familia and the Museun d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, will then host the selected works of artists chosen by the Scientific Committee of the Museum MIIT and Italia Arte. An exhibition to continue living and hoping for a free and civil society.
